David will be showing new photographs of Exotic Animals and Flowers at the newest art gallery in Pittsburgh. Postwar Gallery specializes in mid-century paintings, decorative arts and jewelry. It's located in Point Breeze - 6901 Lynn Way, Suite 110, Pittsburgh, PA 15208. And, music will be provided at the show's opening by David's friend, Billy Price.

Pittsburgh artist Sandra Conley will be presenting her Cookie Dough series of 21 original paintings along with essays about the featured counties, their youth and/or traditional cookies.

The art reception will be on Saturday. November 16 from 5 to 8 PM at the McMurray Art League Gallery, 4069 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. And, the reception will be accompanied by cookies from each country.

Pittsburgh based artist Stacy Innerst has illustrated many award winning children's books, including The Painter And The President, Bird Rehearsal and the NY Times Best Illustrated Children's Book Ruth Bader Ginsburg.




Stacy has illustrated a new book that is coming out in February, 2025 - JOAN MITCHELL PAINTS A SYMPHONY: LA GRANDE VALLEE SUITE from Astra Publishing House and Calkins Creek. It's 1983, and American artist Joan Mitchell is in her studio outside Paris, transforming her emotions and memories into a symphony of colors and shapes. Inspired by her friend's description of an idyllic hidden valley in France, Mitchell creates 21 massive paintings - her Grande Vallée series - bursting with vibrant, energizing hues. But she doesn’t paint the valley’s flowers and meadows. She paints a feeling about them—abundance, freedom, liveliness—creating a harmonious blend of drips, splashes, and brush strokes in rainbow colors. When the paint dries, it's time to share her valley with the world.











Stacy's prints will also be included in The Original Art Show at the New York Society Of Illustrators. The Museum of Illustration at the Society of Illustrators is proud to present The Original Art, an annual exhibit celebrating the fine art of children's book illustration, on display from Saturday, October 26, 2024 through February 1, 2025.
