GALLERIE WRAP BARS 24 INCHES X 1 1/4 INCHES (WITH CORNER BRACES) - 20/PKG
Hahnemühle Gallerie Wrap Bars allow you to custom design your own frame. As part of the overall Wrap System, the Gallerie Bars are available in 9 sizes to accommodate whatever size print you wish to frame. With a minimum of effort and with no special tools required, you can quickly and efficiently frame your image. The system works with both paper and canvas images.
Merely remove the adhesive from the bars and adhere them to the back of your print. Trim the excess around the bars. Apply glue along the bar and trim the corners. Staple the corners, insert the tensioners and you're done - a ready made frame.
Bars are packaged in plastic bags in pairs so you can purchase a package of 2 to construct half of a stretcher. Then you choose another size for the second pair to complete the stretcher. Corner braces supply support to the finished wrap. They should not be confused with the positioning corners. (14600000 Gallerie Wrap Standard Corners: Set of 4 positioning corners with pins and glue.)
Note! The bars provide a depth of 1.15" (2.90cm) and the picture must be roughly 1.4" (3.5cm) wider on each side than the finished frame.
Many companies claim to be steeped in 'tradition'. But there is hardly any company more entitled to boast this signet of consistency, experience and quality than the paper manufacturer Hahnemühle which was founded in Dassel in Lower Saxony in 1584. What initially began with handmade writing paper was later complemented by art paper and, more recently, digitally printable FineArt inkjet paper invented by the company Hahnemühle. But the traditional art paper is still being manufactured according to old recipes from high-quality cellulose and pure spring water. The paper technologists at Hahnemühle are reliable partners of artists, technicians and scientists. They manufacture exactly according to their customers' requirements, continuously optimise the paper together with them, and develop products for new market segments. Their motto has always been "quality not quantity": With an annual production of about 3,000 tons, Hahnemühle sees itself more as a manufactory than a factory. Today the company employs roughly 180 people and has subsidiaries in Great Britain, France, the USA and China. Production has taken place at the same location for 430 years - with the highest quality and innovative spirit created from tradition.
