Print Guard spray renders the print more water resistant and can also increase light resistance. The coatings, which are toxologically safe, can be sprayed or air brushed directly on to the image and then allowed to air dry. Designed to provide a protective coating to images produced using water based ink jet inks, drawing inks and water colors, Print Guard is a clear lacquer and when applied to water solulable images greatly increases UV resistance to fading, reduces the possibility of damage to the image, and provides a splash proof water resistance coat.

Not only does it protect the image from the environment it also reduces the possibility of color shift observed in the fading process.

Print Guard is suitable for all types of printing media.

Print Guard brush on is a thicker version for application by brush, roller or high viscosity spray equipment. Supplied in 1 liter cans, Print Guard brush on was primarily designed for use on fine art papers and canvas although it works equally well on most media types. As well as providing the same level of water protection and increased fade resistance as the spray version, Print Guard brush on also significantly enhances the color of images produced on uncoated media.
