If your Mac or PC can connect to the internet, the techs at Tastar can remotely connect to your system to work on solving a problem or review a specific situation. We do this by using a helper application - CrossLoop - to create a secure connection to your computer.

Advantages:

  • You initiate and end the remote help session whenever you want.
  • Zero configuration needed (even through firewalls and routers)
System Requirements:
  • CrossLoop for Macintosh requires System 10.4 or later
  • CrossLoop for Windows requires Windows XP or later
  • a working DSL or faster internet connection is required for either platform.
You can download either CrossLoop for Mac (on the left) or CrossLoop for Windows (on the right) by clicking on the appropriate link:

After you have downloaded the helper app, please follow these instructions:

Macintosh:
  1. Double-click the DMG file to mount the installer disk.
  2. Run the CrossLoop installer.
  3. When instructed by your Tastar tech, click on the Share tab and provide the Access Code to begin a screen sharing session.
Windows:
  1. Double-click the EXE installer to install the CrossLoop application.
  2. When instructed by your Tastar tech, click on the Share tab and provide the Access Code to begin a screen sharing session.
